Suitable for all, and especially for those who feel that they are not bendy enough or relaxed enough to practise yoga, this positive, friendly class places emphasis on developing evenness of mind, fullness of breath and ease within the body. Incorporating posture, breathing, meditation, philosophy, visualisation and sound, and tailored to those in attendance, the time of day and the season, this class will help you to improve your physical, emotional and mental wellbeing and to cultivate the skills you need to navigate the ups and downs of life.

Whilst any given class or workshop may contain some challenging postures, students are always given alternative options so that they can practice safely and wisely. You do not need to be able to do headstand, shoulderstand, handstand or advanced back bends to attend a class!

This class is run as ‘drop-in’ so no booking is necessary but please do email me to check there will be enough space before attending. I’m always very happy to answer questions or give further information. Please do bring your own mat to practice on and a blanket to keep you warm during relaxation.

Before attending a class please complete the following confidential health questionnaire:

Regarding Covid protocols, officially there are now no restrictions. I have been double vaccinated but it is still possible to catch and spread the virus, even if you are fully vaccinated. It will be a feature of our lives for the foreseeable future, so we need to learn to live with it and manage the risk to ourselves and others, so it’s about care, kindness and consideration, whatever your views.
From my end, I will be doing a lateral flow test each week, and encourage you to do the same. I also request that if you have any symptoms of illness please err on the side of caution and don’t attend. I will do the same. There can be quite a few people in the room and we are all there to feel better.
